Free Collection
Collection of your documents from your premises is free of charge and we have space available immediately. This ensures your document boxes are collected safely and quickly by professionals. On site, your documents will be registered and securely archived in our modern, insulated facility. We will collect boxes from all over the UK with customers in Bristol, Swindon, Cornwall, Plymouth and more.
Security
UK Storage benefits from 24×7 recorded digital CCTV, smoke detectors, intruder and fire alarm systems. The archive storage area is only accessible by trained staff. We currently store items for a couple of hospitals as well as accountants, solicitors and a variety of other companies, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Professional
When we collect the boxes from you we ask for an inventory of the boxes alongside a unique identifier for each box. This is then imported in to our database and then we can track each box and know exactly where it is in an instant. Each box has it’s own location within our racked out area of warehouse and this is then listed on the main database. No more searching for one box in a pile of hundreds, let us take care of your boxes and we can manage them professionally. Reducing the amount of time your staff deal with document retrievals.
Transportation and Retrieval
Retrieval is easy – your documents are typically available within 24 hours of your request. They can be delivered to your door or viewed on site. If you no longer require your documents, we can arrange for the secure, confidential destruction of the documents. Our records management system allows us to identify the location of your boxes right down to which aisle and which row they are on. This allows speedy retrieval of any documents you store with us.
Location

- Only listed and trained staff members have any physical access to the document storage area of the warehouse.
- We use an in house software package to track all boxes and create invoices.
- We provides certificated secure destruction of documents when no longer required.
- Is able to provide individual boxes at short notice to allow quick resolution of disclosure or destruction requests.
- Transports all boxes for the customer in a van never left unlocked and unattended.
- Our vans are fitted with a tracker in case of theft.
- Document boxes travel in a separate compartment to vans driver or passenger who will always be UK Storage Company employees.
- Warehouse has both fire and intruder alarms.
- Warehouse has CCTV recording all the approaches to the building along with internal CCTV.
- Documents kept on specialist racking in a custom warehouse.
- Document warehouse has further security with even stronger locks.
- Warehouse is within a locked compound.
- Warehouse is protected by a flood defence system and your documents are kept above ground floor level.
- No access is given to the archive storage area other than specific UK Storage Company employees.
- We have never had a data breach of any kind in the time we have been operating (since 2005).
